The Educational Linux System (Edix) is a Debian live operating system designed to boot from USB and provide instructors, trainers, and teachers with a flexible, ready to go solution for providing classroom software support scaling from one learner to an entire school or district.
While technically an Operating System the Edix system provides its real value as a system of operation using the software supplied as a means to organize, document, and provide professional training to learners at a distance or in the classroom.
In order to enroll in the course or post to this site your .edu .us or .gov email address is a requirement of registration. Guest access is allowed without registration to those interested in discovering more about the Edix system but without a need to actually take the course or post to the forums etc...
